Data Protection


 

To comply with the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) which came into force 25th May 2018, I am obliged to inform you as to what data I collect and how it is processed, handled and stored. In order to provide you with the service TICK Program® offers, I currently hold the following information:


  • Company names and correspondence addresses.


  • Individual’s names, titles, correspondence addresses, residing addresses.


  • Individual’s planning application packages, specifications and drawings in PDF & other digital formats.


  • Standard Assessment Procedure home energy rating calculation records.


  • E-mail addresses, contact phone numbers Client supplied quotations.



I acquire and gather this information from a variety of sources including but not limited to: incoming enquiries, new clients, ongoing projects, suppliers, architects, engineers, consultants and subcontractors.



This data is processed through my internal system and is backed up to a secure cloud storage facility and to a secure external hard drive.



Your information will only ever be used for legitimate business purposes. I will not transmit your information to other parties unless it is required to fulfil contracted works. All data disclosures will only be relevant to the particular requirements of the contracted works.



I do not engage in mass electronic marketing.



Please contact me by writing to me at my office address if you have any concern in relation to the above or if you would like to request a copy of your personal information I have on file and / or if you wish for such data to be deleted from my business database.



By requesting an energy assessment to be undertaken about your proposed property, you are consenting to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of producing a valid Energy Performance Certificate in line with the legal obligation to do so under Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations.



Any personal data collected will be processed in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation and all applicable laws and regulations relating to the processing of personal data and privacy. As part of the legal basis to process personal data, Energy Assessors are also required to securely maintain and store assessment data for a period of no less than 15 years following assessment, as per the Code of Conduct of their energy assessor accreditation. This data may also be processed by my Accreditation Scheme as part of Assessor surveillance activities.



The Energy Performance of Buildings Regulations require a copy of all Energy Performance Certificates to be lodged on a national Register. Further information about the ways in which data held on the Register is made available to others is set out in a privacy notice.
